The Retreat Lake carp fishery is a great exclusive venue for up to 4 anglers or those wishing to combine a fishing holiday with their family. The wedge shaped lake is 2.5 acres in size with depths from 1 to 5 feet. The lake bed is firm with patches of silt and there is an island with bridge access across the lake. It is well stocked with commons, mirrors to over 44lbs and catfish to over 45lbs and a good number of 20 and 30lbs fish. The lake is completely private and night fishing is permitted.
